I can’t say enough good things about Wayne and Chantae Pennell at Cathedral Bluff Outfitters. From the moment I was picked up at the airport, until being dropped back off at the end of the hunt, everything was exceptional. Wayne can flat out hunt, his hounds are amazing, and Chantae is sure to keep your stomach happy with delicious home cooked meals each night. Watching the hounds work is such a pleasure and riding snowmobiles through majestic snow covered peaks is an adventure of its own. Unlike many other hunting camps, the one on one time you get to spend with the outfitter is awesome, as I learned so much about both the hounds as well as the prey we were chasing. I harvested a nice Tom, and we had a lot of fun. If chasing long tails is on your bucket list, pick up the phone and call, you won’t be disappointed.

I wanted to thank you for a great and memorable mountain lion hunt, from the first day to the last! Words can't adequately describe the experience as a hunter, with or without a harvest but I don't need to describe it to you, as I believe you do this out of passion and a love for it. All a guy can ask for is a dry place to sleep, good food, fun people and a chance, and you worked very hard to make that happen. I like how you run things and I can't tell you enough, I had a great time!

I just wanted to drop a line saying that I had the hunt of a lifetime hunting for mountain lion. I had never hunted with dogs and I thought I never would. You have opened my eyes to a new style of hunting. The dogs were so well trained and knew everything to do. You as an outfitter, I feel, pushed up and beyond for top quality performance. As far as hospitality, food, lodging....it was excellent. I would like to give a special thanks to your wife and children that stand behind you and take care of the home front while you're away. My mountain lion went pope and young, as most of your cats do. As if that wasn't enough, on my second day of the hunt I got a really nice bobcat. Thank you & God bless you and your family.
